Age of Attraction season 1 is finally over. The contestants reunited for an epic-length reunion on The Viall Files that got very awkward and dug deep into the personal lives and relationships of 11 of the 12 contestants who coupled up in Whistler.
At the reunion, we learned that one couple is still dating, Libby Vodicka and Andrew Wheeler, and one couple is still engaged, Vanessa Drozda and Logan Goodrid. Then, after the reunion, we learned a third couple, who actually dated other people during the show, may have just formed.
According to a report from TMZ, John Merrill and Leah Woolfolk were spotted getting quite close after the reunion. A video from Friday, March 27, seems to show John and Leah on a date or something of the sort. The video was taken days before the reunion was released on Nick Viall's YouTube channel, but it was actually two weeks after the reunion, which was filmed on Friday, March 13.
John and Leah have not commented about their relationship
During the reunion, John and Leah confirmed at separate times that they are still single. It was very clear at the time that they were not necessarily interested in keeping things going with their partners from the show either, Theresa DeMaria and Chris Dahlan.
TMZ reports that a source confirmed that John and Leah are not technically dating, but Leah was given flowers by John. I don't know; that seems to suggest they were on a date, at least.
In the series, Chris dumped Leah on the top of the mountain on Commitment Day. It was clear throughout the season that Leah seemed more invested in the relationship than Chris, which was talked about at length during the reunion.
For John, though, he committed to Theresa. During the reunion, the couple revealed that they tried to make it work, but there were many, many things wrong during their relationship, including issues overcoming the 27-year age gap between them.
It will be interesting to see if a romantic relationship develops between them. Honestly, I'm more intrigued to find out what their former partners feel about their relationship. At the reunion, Chris seemed to have moved on fairly quickly, while Leah was still going through some emotions about how she was treated. Theresa, though, appeared to be more open to getting back together with John at one point.
