It doesn’t take long to find out what’s happened to Hen as 911 season 9 episode 7 gets started. Things aren’t looking great, and she’s trying to keep everything a secret from the people who care about her the most.
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS from 911 season 9 episode 7.
We open with Hen at the hospital, and it looks like she’s hooked up to chemo. However, she still really has no idea what’s wrong with her, sharing that she’s been in the hospital once a week trying every treatment the doctors have offered her. So we get some answers, but not many.
Meanwhile, we head to a corporate office, where a man struggles to get all the words out. It doesn’t stop him from being a bad boss, and as he shouts at the office, he drops on the floor in pain, asking for help. It’s time to call 911.

The first 118 call of 2026 on 911 season 9 episode 7
The 118 is called in to check on the boss, and Hen immediately asks if he grabbed his chest to see if it’s a heart attack. Instead, he grabbed his crotch, and Eddie quickly notices that there’s something down there. He is wearing a chastity belt, and he swallowed the key. This is much darker and twistier, as it turns out one of the women in the office he was shouting at is his dom, and she told him to swallow the chastity belt.
So, the 118 needs to use the grinder to get the chastity belt off. Of course, it’s all done in front of everyone at the office, and it takes the dom to use her skills to get him to stop wriggling. Oh, how the office isn’t going to be the same.
Back at the firehouse, Buck points out that Eddie is wearing a chastity belt of his own. While it’s not a physical one, Buck points out that Eddie hasn’t looked at a woman in a year. Sure, protecting Chris was important, but Eddie needs to let himself live a little, and it means Buck and Ravi are heading out with Eddie to a club to meet women IRL.
Back at Hen’s house as she gets home late, Karen wants to know what “Luna” is, and the truth is about to come out. I can’t help but feel for Karen, who has been left in the dark all this time, and now it’s coming out. It also doesn’t help that Hen isn’t even seeing her regular doctor, and she’s only been at the medical spa for all of her needs.
Karen makes it clear that Hen has a choice. She is either honest with Chimney about her medical condition or they’re done.

When a first date takes a surprising turn
While out in the club, Buck tries to get Eddie set up with women, but Eddie keeps stalling. Things don’t quite go as planned, as it turns out that a woman Buck was trying to set up with Eddie wanted his number. On top of that, Buck ends up meeting a guy while in the line for the bathroom, who ends up buying the whole group drinks.
As that goes on, Hen goes to see Athena, who understands Karen’s anger. Athena also makes it clear it is time for Hen to tell everyone the truth, but their conversation is cut off a little by Harry walking in exhausted from his Fire Academy training. With Harry in his room, the two friends get a chance to return to the conversation about Hen. This doesn’t have to be the end of Hen’s story, and it could be the start of a new chapter.
The next day, we head out to a couple who are on their first date. The date doesn’t go to plan when the woman suddenly ends up with stomach pains. It leads to a call to 911, and it doesn’t take long to find out that she’s having a baby, and she had no idea about it. What a way to end a first date, delivering a baby!

It's time for a few first dates on 911
It looks like the date won’t end with him delivering her baby. The 118 is called out, as the baby is breech and there’s blood in the amniotic fluid. The baby needs to be turned, but Hen can’t do the work with a shaky hand, so she gets Eddie to do it all for her. Now it’s time to deliver the baby. Sure enough, it’s definitely a baby, but it doesn’t look like it ruins the first date completely.
That evening, Buck decides to head out on a date. Or two. Yes, he’s going out with both numbers he got from the club. Both of them are very similar in nature, ordering for him — although the guy does at least ask if he likes linguine. The dates end up at a club, suggesting that they do happen on separate nights, and it looks like we’ve got the playboy Buck back from earlier on 911.

Buck finds out something surprising about his dates
It turns out that the two people Buck has been with are siblings. Eddie and Ravi are the ones who figure it all out based on how they have pictures with the same “old lady” and have the same picture together on their profiles. How did Buck not realize? There is only one thing that Buck can do: break it off with both of them.
Elsewhere in the firehouse, Hen needs to see Chimney. It’s time for her to come clean, although it doesn’t happen. The alarm goes off, and it’s time to head out to the biggest call of the night, the major building fire from the 911 season 9 episode 7 promo.
The building was said to be empty, but a man throwing a chair out of the window proves otherwise, and he ends up jumping out of the building and onto a parked car below. This is going to be much more dangerous than initially thought.

Hen's medical concerns become an issue during a building fire
The firefighters are spread out, with Hen and Eddie working on victims outside and Buck and Ravi inside getting people out. It turns out that there are a lot more people inside the building that originally reported, and now Buck, Ravi, and Hen are all on search and rescue duty. Why would anyone call in to say that it was empty with so many people outside?
The situation gets tough when a woman walks around looking for her seven-year-old daughter. Usually, her daughter sleeps with her, but she wasn’t there when she woke up. Buck gets the mom out while Hen continues the search for the young girl.
Of course, while in the middle of the search, Hen starts to struggle with her vision and balance. When Chimney can’t get her on the radio, Buck and Ravi get ready to go back up. However, Hen walks out with the child, and she collapses when the adrenaline leaves her system.

Chimney doesn't have a choice on 911 season 9 episode 7
The good news is that Hen is stable and at the hospital. While the doctors don’t know what’s going on, Karen rushes in to learn that Hen never told Chimney about her medical issues. The full truth is about to come out.
Meanwhile, at the firehouse, the siblings turn up after Buck ended things with them. It turns out the siblings both knew about Buck. They’d both hit on him at the bar to see which one of them he’d call. Well, the two aren’t siblings at all. They’re a couple, and they’re both interested in Buck. They are ethically non-monogamous — the unicorn comment was a clear hint. They would like Buck to become their third, but Buck isn’t ready for that. It was fun while it lasted.
Back at the hospital, Chimney just wants to know why Hen didn’t tell him about her medical issues. They’re best friends. Collapsing at the fire means that now it’s all out, and Chimney starts to get angry. What if she’d collapsed while in the structure fire? Chim has no choice. If it was anyone else who did this, he’d have to let them go, and it can’t be any different with Hen. He has to let her go from the 118.
911 airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC.
