Another week is here, and there are more new shows heading to broadcast networks. NBC and FOX are the two main networks with something new to check out, but The CW slips in there as well.
Of course, there are shows that you’ll get away with skipping as well. These are the shows that are mostly reruns at this point, as the various networks get their summer programming in order. You can watch them commercial-free via streaming platforms, and that’s always the best way to watch.
So, whether you want reality or scripted, we have you covered with our list of suggestions. There are some big episodes to come.
What to watch: American Ninja Warrior
NBC kicks things off in style on Monday, June 2 with the new season of American Ninja Warrior. There’s no doubt that we love seeing people accomplish huge goals, such as setting themselves up to complete this Ninja Warrior course.
Season 17 kicks off in Las Vegas with the first qualifiers, and there are some past participants that you’ll want to get ready to see again. Do they still have what it takes to get to the end? They’ve set records once, but can they do it once more?
American Ninja Warrior airs on Monday at 8/7c on NBC. It’s a two-hour episode.

What to watch: The Quiz with Balls
Some people prefer to watch a game show, testing their knowledge on particular topics, and that’s what The Quiz with Balls offers. Contestants will go up against each other as they are quizzed on animals, movies, science, and so much more. Test your own knowledge and compete with the people in your house.
Jay Pharoah hosts this show, which sees families competing against each other. And the “Balls” part of the title will stand out thanks to the threat of being hit with a massive yellow ball and making a splash in a giant pool. Get ready for some laughter and fun.
The Quiz with Balls airs Monday at 9/8c on FOX.

What to watch: The Cleaning Lady
Tuesday nights have been all about crime dramas, and while Alert: Missing Persons Unit finished its third season last week, The Cleaning Lady still has some episodes to go in its fourth season. Both of those episodes air this week, and you will not want to miss out on them. This show remains on the bubble, so now is the time to watch and make it clear you need more.
Thony’s life is on the line once again, and Ramona is closing in on her. She needs to figure out how to get ahead of the game of those who want to silence her. She has Jorge on her side, but is he enough to stop Ramona’s plans from playing out?
The Cleaning Lady airs Tuesday at 8/7c on FOX. It’s a two-hour episode.

What to skip: NCIS
With Tuesdays turning into NCIS Night in the fall, CBS is preparing us for that with reruns. We’ll have a night of NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney reruns throughout Tuesday, but don’t worry about watching them. While they are great for rerun material, you can watch all of these shows on Paramount+.
Yes, all three shows are available on streaming. You can watch the particular episodes airing this week, or you can choose whichever one you want. I’d actually watch NCIS: Hawaii instead, but that’s got a lot to do with my love for that particular show.

What to watch: Destination X
NBC has an intriguing new reality series called Destination X. In this show, the contestants are taken to different locations, and they need to figure out where they are based on the clues that they get. We get to guess along with them, and something that makes this series a little harder is that they’re not necessarily in the location they’re supposed to be guessing.
The new episode sees the arrival of two new contestants joining the fun. The Bachelor’s Peter Weber and Love Island USA’s JaNa Craig will join the remaining nine in the new city, where they’ll need to figure out if they are all working together or if someone in the group is trying to sabotage everyone else.
Destination X airs Tuesday at 10/9c on NBC.

What to watch: Sherlock & Daughter
Wednesday nights have been all about mysteries, and The CW’s Sherlock & Daughter is a series to check out tonight. It’s perfect for period drama and crime drama fans, as well as those who want a slightly different take on the Sherlock Holmes lore.
This is the penultimate episode of the first season, and it’s important to keep watching to prove that you want to see more of it. After all, The CW hasn’t made any renewal or cancellation decisions yet, and we know how many shows have been canceled in the past. In this episode, the communication network of the Red Thread is cracked, and that means Sherlock may be able to find the kidnapped victims.
Sherlock & Daughter airs on Wednesday at 9/8c on The CW.

What to watch: Transplant
Devi finally has to make a decision about who is going to get the position in Transplant, and it’s certainly not an easy one to make. However, things may take a turn when Mags learns that there is a donor heart available. She’s only just landed on the transplant list, and she already has the opportunity of a heart, but is she ready for this?
Meanwhile, June and Novak will clash over the way they treat an intern. If you ask me, though, the intern needs to learn some tough love and work ethic based on what I’ve seen of this episode!
Transplant airs on Thursday at 8/7c on NBC.
What to skip: Back to the Future
I hate saying to skip Back to the Future, but that’s mostly because you’re going to be interrupted with commercials. The movie airs on The CW on Sunday night, but you can watch it better via a streaming platform. I’d even recommend getting the trilogy of movies on Digital or even on DVD for a better experience.
It’s the first movie airing this week, which sees Marty McFly learn about time travel for the first time. When Doc Brown is killed, Marty ends up taking the DeLorean and finds himself in 1955, where he needs to work hard not to change the past and make it so he and his siblings don’t exist.
