Xbox players received some great news recently about three new consoles that most experts agree will be coming out for the holiday season. Let’s take a look at what they will offer gamers and also how they will compare to the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is also supposed to be coming out around that time.

The New Lineup

Xbox Series S (1TB in Robot White)

The Xbox Series S will double the storage from 523GB to 1TB of SSD memory to ensure gamers have room for all of their favorite titles. It features a sleek, Robot White case that will look great in any gaming setup. The Xbox Series S is currently available in Carbon Black, and fans of that color can still get the system while supplies last.

Xbox Series X (1TB Digital Edition in Robot White)

The Series X is Xbox’s most powerful console, featuring  12 Teraflops of power, true 4K gaming, and advanced cooling mechanisms. This digital edition will help make the powerful console more affordable for gamers, and it’s a great choice since the trend of downloading and streaming games shows no signs of slowing down.

Xbox Series X (2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition)

The Galaxy Black Special Edition Xbox Series X is a serious gaming machine with all of the power of the Series X consoles combined with 2TB of storage space for gamers who like to play several games at once and keep their favorite titles ready to go. It also features a unique cosmic design that helps drive home how out of this world the console is. It’s prepared to handle the most demanding titles and guaranteed top-tier performance.

What This Means for Gamers

These new additions to the Xbox family offer several options for gamers, including a more affordable option for those looking to get into serious gaming and a way to upgrade the amount of storage space you have. Many experts also speculate that these new consoles will be part of bundles that may include special games and other bonuses not yet announced.

Will These Consoles Be Better Than the PS5 Pro?

The Galaxy Black Special Edition Xbox Series X will likely offer more storage space than the Playstation 5 Pro, which experts also expect to release during the holiday season. However, these consoles won’t likely match it in power as the PS5 Pro has 33.5 Teraflops of power, almost tripling what the Series X provides. That said, Xbox has hinted at an upcoming system, likely called the “Series X Refresh,” that will be more capable of competing with the Sony system.
